The climate of our area is affected by the proximity of the Tyrrhenian Sea (35 km
as the crow flies) and the particular hilly terrain of the area, which favors the
circulation of air and the influx of currents both of marine origin and from the
hinterland.
This determines the realization of some agronomically fundamental characteristics
for the quality of Pinot Noir: good day-night temperature variations and low relative
humidity of the air in the summer which also make the organic management of crops
(both vineyard and olive grove) practicable and fruitful.
